4 p.m.: Rally at Cadman Plaza (corner of Court Street and Joralemon) in Brooklyn
5 p.m.: Candlelight March across the Brooklyn Bridge
6 p.m.: Rally in Foley Square, behind the U.S. Federal Building

Please join the Coalition To Stand With Haiti in this demonstration to Honor the memory of the dead and to Show solidarity with those who are injured and who lost their family members and homes.

The pain is immense. Only as one, can we bear it.

At 4:53 p.m., the time the earthquake struck, we will begin our walk toward the Brooklyn Bridge on our way to Foley Square, behind the Federal Building in downtown Manhattan.

Let us mourn the dead! Let us honor the courage and solidarity of the Haitian people! With their strength, a new Haiti will be built for Haitians!

Take the #2, #3, #4 IRT trains to Borough Hall. Take the Flatbush 41 Bus to Tillary.

LET US SAVE HAITI! HAITI WILL NOT DIE! HAITI FOREVER!

Peace fam!

I found myself needing to work, to update, to stay informed, but it wasn’t enough. Which is why I was excited to be called on to co-host Music 4 Medicine on Monday (1.18.2010). There was so much love in the room, we had a moment of prayer led by the women of Casa Atabex Ache and an altar for the victims of Haiti’s Earthquake.

We raised $2000 for Haiti and was matched by CBS, equaling $4000!!!
If you missed the show, you can check it out here! It was a beautiful moment of unity for a beautiful nation!
